Q&A
Roofing Contractor
What are signs it might be time to replace my roof?
The only way to know for sure is to have it inspected by a roofing professional. In North Texas, it’s generally not if, but when, you’ll need a new roof due to storm damage. Storm damage is not necessarily visible to the untrained eye. At Integrity, we utilize licensed independent adjusters for inspections who know what insurance adjusters look for when making a damage decision. If there is sufficient damage, we recommend the homeowner contact their insurance carrier for further evaluation.
Will you meet with my insurance adjuster to confirm the damage?
Yes, Integrity will meet with your insurance adjuster during their inspection to review Integrity’s damage assessment of the property so that your insurance company understands what repairs are needed to restore your property to its pre-damage condition.
What should I budget for a new roof?
If the insurance carrier determines the roof needs to be replaced, most homeowners’ out-of-pocket cost is the deductible plus any upgrades or additional work outside the insurance scope. Insurance covers everything else. Texas law requires property owners to pay their deductible. Avoid any roofing contractor who says they can legally waive the deductible or give an advertising credit for a sign in the yard. That is insurance fraud. We realize deductibles can be a challenge for homeowners to pay. To help with that, we offer various payment options including financing.
What other services does Integrity Roofing offer?
We are a full-service general contractor, so we are not limited to just roofing. We do multi-trade projects, including gutters, windows, siding, wood repairs, chimneys, interior damages, fences, air conditioning, and more. We also do a variety of commercial roofs including metal, tile, synthetic, built-up, single-ply, multi-ply, and designer coverings.
How do I know I’m hiring the right roofing contractor?
First, avoid “storm chasers.” It’s always best to find a local company with an established track record in the community. Second, make sure they carry general liability insurance. Third, make sure they follow OSHA standards and cooperate with local municipalities for all licensing and permits. Fourth, educate yourself about roofing products, the installation process, and warranties to make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Fifth, make sure they provide you with up-to-date references.
Most people choose Integrity through referrals. We are a family-owned, locally operated company based in Keller with more than 22 years in business. We carry general liability insurance and follow OSHA safety guidelines and all local municipality licensing and permit laws. As a GAF MasterElite Preferred Contractor, we are among the top 2% of roofing contractors in DFW, and the top 3% nationally, allowing us to offer enhanced/extended warranties that most of our competitors can’t provide. We are members of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating, members of the North Texas Roof Contractors Association, Angi, and The Good Contractors List. Above all, we endeavor to live and work by the Golden Rule.
