Patients describe Dr. Charles Slack in many ways—soft-spoken, kind, patient, approachable, thorough, gifted. Raised in DFW, the son of a pastor, Dr. Slack became interested in medicine at a young age and ultimately found his niche in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Now, he spends his days consulting with men and women who seek his expertise for everything from mommy makeovers to reconstruction after cancer or injury. One of the most important things he offers them is his time, really listening to their concerns and desires then educating them about all their options. “I’m not a salesman,” he said. “I’m not here to talk people into having surgery. I discuss each procedure with my patients presenting the pros and cons and any risks, as well as trying to ensure they have realistic expectations before they have any surgery.”
Dr. Slack has been practicing in Collin County for over 20 years. During that time, he’s witnessed its exponential growth. Despite this, he continues to provide the personal attention of a small-town doctor while providing the latest cutting-edge procedures expected of larger metropolitan practice. He specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast, body, and face as well as Neograft hair restoration. His practice also provides med spa services including skin resurfacing, skin tightening, ant-aging facials, hydra facials, clinical skincare products, and full line of injectables which he personally injects.
Dr. Slack is board-certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is the current president of the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons.
