As a leading woman in the dentistry field, Dr. Shilpa Kelkar supports women in every area of her practice.

Growing up in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India, her family filled with doctors and dentists modeled the compassionate care that she continues in her practice. After a rigorous selection process, she studied for her bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from the Government College of Dentistry in Indore. She received her Master of Science in oral biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. At Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, she received a Doctor of Dental Medicine with high honors.

With an artistic personality, Dr. Kelkar especially enjoys seeing the joy that a new smile can bring to her patients. Those results often create greater self-confidence for patients, which changes their lives for the better.

Dr. Kelkar’s all-female staff of four works hard to provide patients with the finest care in the most comfortable atmosphere. Their clear communication and ability to answer patients’ questions shows their practice of putting patients first in each and every situation.
