Beazer Homes Becomes First National Homebuilder to Build 100% Zero Energy Ready Homes in DFW

5300 The Allegheny01Beazer Homes is thrilled to announce they are now offering homes certified by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Zero Energy Ready HomeTM program. Each of the Dallas division’s actively selling single-family home communities now offers the most energy-efficient homes built by Beazer today.

“We are so excited to be the first national homebuilder in the Metroplex to offer homes that feature this level of cutting-edge, energy-efficient technology,” says Division President Jason Oates. “With better performance, customers can save money on their energy bills, enjoy improved air quality for healthier living, and experience the difference of a home designed with their family’s health and comfort in mind.”

5300 The Allegheny03For more than 25 years, Beazer has been a leader in building homes ahead of current standards and beyond expectations. Beazer is the first U.S. national homebuilder to commit to building all homes to meet the requirements of the DOE Zero Energy Ready Home program by the end of 2025. The program incorporates building science innovations and practices to achieve at least 40-50% greater energy-efficiency than a typical new home. DOE Zero Energy Ready Homes are verified and certified by a qualified third-party inspector.

“The DOE program is an important step towards a brighter future, both environmentally and economically,” Oates says. “Whether homebuyers are looking to reduce their environmental footprint or seeking energy cost savings, they can trust in the DOE Zero Energy Ready Home certification on each new home we build. We are working towards the future our customers and communities deserve.”

5300 The Allegheny04Beazer Homes is proud of the partnerships they have created with industry-leading companies who share their vision and enable them to stay on the cutting edge of trends, technology, and efficiency. “Beazer Dallas is proud to produce homes that are not only Zero Energy Ready Homes, but are also ENERGY STAR® certified and Indoor airPLUS® qualified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),” says Oates. Behind the walls of each Beazer home across the DFW Metroplex are innovative, energy-efficient features to improve home performance and maintain ideal temperatures, giving homeowners control over their comfort. Each home is designed to filter indoor air with industry-leading technology – greatly reducing outside pollutants such as Texas pollen, mold, and toxic chemicals. “We don’t just build houses —  we build homes with longevity and health in mind,” Oates says.
