Dr. Bianca Busch understands that finding mental health solutions means more than taking a pill. Although medication can be a helpful form of intervention, she knows that lasting change often only comes from the insight, skill-building, and sense of partnership gleaned through psychotherapy. Dr. Busch founded her practice in 2020 with the intention to thoughtfully integrate psychotherapy with medication management, knowing that both are essential to achieving and maintaining strong mental health.
Dr. Busch was raised in New Mexico and attended the University of Chicago, where the academic rigor shaped her as a learner and thinker. After college, she worked in public health, which deepened her commitment to serving families and communities.
Medical school expanded her fascination with how the human body works and psychiatry felt like the perfect intersection of her interests in both the social and biological sciences. She completed her child and adolescent psychiatry training at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based care.
On her professional journey Dr. Busch has had incredible mentors who modeled patient advocacy, thoughtful practice-building, and holistic care. From them, she learned that excellent medicine is not just about knowledge, it’s about listening well and caring deeply.
She and her family moved to the Dallas–Fort Worth area in 2021 to be closer to extended family. She has loved putting down roots here and enjoys the warm weather, community spirit, and abundance of activities for families.
Dr. Busch prioritizes listening carefully and partnering with her patients to make decisions about their mental health. It’s important for her that her patients feel respected, understood, and actively involved in their care. Patients often remark that, during sessions, they feel truly heard.
Her practice in Mansfield was designed to be warm, welcoming, and comfortable. “I want people to feel at ease the moment they walk through the door,” Dr. Busch said. “My team and I strive to offer a concierge-level experience where patients feel respected, heard, and supported throughout their care.”
Dr. Busch is dual-board-certified in adult psychiatry and in child and adolescent psychiatry and is currently welcoming new patients in Mansfield. She also provides virtual care across multiple states. This allows her to continue caring for patients as they leave for college, relocate for work, or move for life transitions. That continuity of care has allowed her to walk alongside patients through different stages of their lives, watching them graduate, change jobs, enter relationships, and grow into who they’re meant to be.
She spends her free time with her husband and two young children, supporting them in their extracurricular activities and exploring the DFW area together. She and her family recently joined a new church and have enjoyed getting connected and involved in ministry.
Dr. Bianca Busch knows it can be hard to ask for help. She applauds her patients’ bravery in reaching out and welcomes the opportunity to provide thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care that empowers individuals and families to thrive at every stage of life.
