Q&A
Interior Designer
How do you describe your design style and aesthetic?
I’d call my style curated and eclectic. I love mixing vintage treasures and antique finds with fresh, modern pieces. That blend brings soul, history, and real personality to a space. I’m not here to copy catalog pages or chase trends. I create homes that feel personal, one-of-a-kind, and truly lived-in. There’s a warmth and charm to a well-collected room that mass-produced décor just can’t match
Can you work with our architect as they’re designing our new home or remodeling our existing one?
Absolutely, and the earlier I’m involved, the better. Beautiful design doesn’t happen in separate silos. Architecture, furnishings, lighting, finishes — it’s all connected. When we collaborate from the beginning, everything feels intentional and cohesive. Don’t have an architect yet? My firm offers full interior architectural services too. Whether you’re starting from scratch or reworking a current home, we help bring the whole vision to life.
What is your interior design strength?
I’m often called when clients aren’t sure of their style or when two very different visions have to coexist. One person loves modern minimalism, the other leans cozy and traditional. I’m great at blending those looks into something that feels fresh, personal, and completely “you.” I also think outside the box, whether it’s sourcing a gorgeous piece that looks high-end without the splurge or cracking a tricky layout challenge. My spaces are bold, layered, and never cookie-cutter.
How do you uncover a client’s style when they can’t quite describe it?
That’s one of my favorite parts of the project. It’s not about handing a client a questionnaire and checking boxes — it’s about listening with intent, asking smart follow-up questions, and reading between the lines. I navigate these conversations intuitively and strategically. By the time we’ve finalized the design, clients often tell me, “This is exactly what I wanted but I didn’t know how to ask for it.” That’s the goal.
What type of client is the best fit for your firm, and what can they expect from working with you?
The clients we work best with are those who want a home that’s full of character, not conformity. They appreciate color, texture, pattern, and the layered charm of a space that feels both curated and deeply personal. Our ideal client values collaboration but also trusts our professional vision to lead the way. We don’t chase trends. We design spaces that feel intentional and enduring. If you’re looking for a home that looks like it came from a showroom, we’re probably not your team. But if you want something bold, warm, and truly reflective of who you are, something with depth and soul, then we’ll probably get along beautifully. Clients come to us because they want something they haven’t seen before, and they know we’ll deliver exactly that.
