Dr. Jacob Rosenstein’s story is a testament to this truth. Born into a family where his father was a tailor, Dr. Rosenstein inherited a remarkable set of skills and dexterity from an early age. Witnessing his father build incredible objects and transform reality with his hands, young Jacob learned the value of hard work, hand-eye coordination, and ideas about how to virtually manipulate 3D space in his head.

Born in Ukraine, Dr. Jacob Rosenstein immigrated to the Bronx, NY at the age of nine. He attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science, which boasts the distinction of having eight Nobel laureates among its alumni. Driven by his passion for science and medicine, Jacob pursued his undergraduate and medical studies at Johns Hopkins University. His residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas at Parkland Hospital exposed him to the intense demands of trauma care, as he treated patients in the very same room where President Kennedy was attended to in his final moments.

Seeking to expand his expertise, Dr. Rosenstein embarked on a neurosurgical fellowship at Queen’s Square in London under the guidance of Professor Lindsay Simon. With enriched knowledge and
experience, he returned to Texas and has been practicing in Arlington since 1985, leaving an indelible mark on the field of neurosurgery. Dr. Rosenstein would go on to found his practice North Texas Neurosurgical Consultants (NTNC).

Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Jacob Rosenstein has gained expertise in a wide range of neurosurgical procedures, spanning from pediatrics to geriatrics. Spinal stenosis is a condition where your spinal canal begins to close off and compress the spinal cord and nerves that reside inside of it.
