Rockwall ISD Visual Art Students Compete in Statewide Art Competition

Rockwall High School and Rockwall-Heath High School visual art students recently competed in the Visual Art Scholastic Event state competition in San Marcos and took home the highest rating of a IV. To compete at the state level, students must first advance at the regional then area level. Students who receive an Exemplary Rating IV are awarded a state medallion and are named an All-State Artist. Students who receive a Rating IV are also considered for the highest honor, a Gold Seal Award. Students selected as Gold Seal winners will receive a Gold State Medallion.
