Tradition Meets Modern // Guests are greeted with a modern concrete walkway and an all-glass front door flanked by large windows. To the right of the entry is a fresh, accessible music room complete with a grand piano, daybed, Kelly Wearstler chairs, and Floral Graffiti wallpaper by Porter Teleo.
Lounging Around // The living room to the left of the entry is dubbed “the lounge.” It’s one of the homeowner’s favorite spaces because it’s sophisticated enough for adults but also approachable for kids. The room boasts a massive sofa, a wall-to-wall marble-topped bar, and a Design Within Reach Cherner game table and chairs.
Room to Relax // The homeowner has three active children, so making the space chic for entertaining while indestructible for young kids and a dog was essential. The vibe — kid-friendly with a masculine edge — starts with carefully curated art and a soothing color palette of navy, white, and gray with touches of brown, warm woods, and mixed metals.
COVETED KITCHEN // Though the other rooms are cherished, none so much as the kitchen, where the homeowner enjoys spending time cooking with his family — he has a certificate from Le Cordon Bleu, after all. The white quartzite counters complement Arteriors bar stools and oversized white pendants by Barbara Cosgrove.
SLEEPING IN STYLE // In the primary bedroom, the showpiece is the custom bed with Pindler fabric adorned with Bellino bedding and a Hermes blanket. Custom Roman shades in Groundworks fabric with a David Hicks by Ashley Hicks print dress the windows in both the bedroom and the adjoining office.
