Thao Le’s entrepreneurial spirit ignited at a young age. Growing up in Vietnam, she was captivated by the world of design and craftsmanship. Her father’s work as an architect inspired her to seek out a career where she could use her creativity. Armed with a degree in business and mentored by her husband Hank Le she set out to make her mark in an industry traditionally dominated by men.

Thao came to the United States in 2011. She and Hank Le established T-Spa in 2012. He had lived in the United States since 1992 and has more than twenty years experience in the nail salon market. He was one of the first to bring the massaging pedicure chair to the U.S. market.

They embarked on a mission to revolutionize the spa furniture market. Her keen eye for detail and commitment to quality quickly gained recognition among spa owners and designers alike. Under her leadership, her company became synonymous with excellence and reliability. T-Spa serves customers across the United States and around the world, including the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia.

T-Spa offers a number of brands of salon supplies and equipment. Everything a nail salon needs from gleaming reception stands to massaging pedicure chairs to ventilation covers can be found on their website.

Their showroom offers hundreds of design options. It is the largest gallery in Texas at more than 10,000 square feet. Furniture can be viewed, tried and experienced first-hand. A large variety of designs and colors can meet every salon owner’s needs.

One of Thao Le’s key strengths lies in her ability to anticipate market trends and adapt to changing consumer preferences. She is constantly testing the waters, learning about the cutting edge in current color and design. “When they are shopping for salon furniture, salon owners are sometimes attracted simply by a low price,” Thao Le says. “But I go a different way. I focus on the quality and design of a product. If your customer is sitting in an uncomfortable chair, that customer will not enjoy the experience or want to come back to your salon. So we make sure our products are of the highest quality.”

Thao Le also understands the investment required to open and equip a salon. While insisting on quality she is also sensitive to a customer’s budget and will work with each customer to create a beautiful and appealing space while conserving financial resources.

Not only does Thao Le insist on high quality in craftsmanship of the products she offers, she also insists on a high quality experience for her customers. Most salon furniture companies simply deliver the furniture and leave the salon owner to hire installers. T-Spa delivers the furniture and makes sure it is installed correctly and to exact specifications. This builds strong loyalty between Thao Le and her customers, ensuring a long and strong relationship. She will work with a new salon owner from the ground up, providing advice on types and number of furniture needed, arrangement and set-up.

“That is one of the things I love most about my work,” Thao Le says. “Our customers become our friends.”

Thao Le is passionate about giving back to her community. She actively supports initiatives that promote women’s empowerment. She is also aware that her business has an environmental aspect. She actively seeks more eco-friendly materials, advocating for more sustainable options. From mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs to implementing eco-friendly practices in her manufacturing processes, she strives to make a positive impact both socially and environmentally.

“I ask them what makes them proud of their mom,” she says. “They say ‘Mom works hard. Mom never stops working.They understand and love T-Spa too.
