Terri Bauer

Terri Bauer feels blessed every single day. She not only gets to spend her workdays with her best friend, husband, and business partner, Dr. John Bauer, but with their son, Dr. Cody Bauer. She’s able to work in the challenging and ever-changing medical field that keeps her on her toes as office technology advances. She gets to forge lifelong friendships with generations of Mansfield families as her family meets their oral-health needs and work with a medical team that has become like family to her.

Outside of the office, Terri is blessed to be a mother to outstanding grown kids and grandmother to amazing grandchildren. And she enjoys an exciting hobby of cutting horses and mentoring young cutting-horse riders. Life for Terri is full and fulfilling.

That life began with parents she says taught her the value of hard work, the value of a dollar, and the value of giving to those in need. “My parents encouraged me to be a giver—not a taker,” she said. “They taught me to never stop learning, never stop serving others, and never stop feeling grateful for what I have.”

It’s that intentional spirit of gratitude she takes with her throughout her day and it leads her thoughts, words, and deeds. “My goal always is to ‘let go and let God’, to follow the spiritual path He’s ordained for me; to give to others and help them find their own spiritual path; to remember life is a journey and to enjoy that journey; to be a good example to my children as they begin their own journey, and to give my true self to my life partner and soulmate, John.”

Whether she’s spending quality time with her large and growing family or working side by side with Dr. John and Dr. Cody at Mansfield Family Dentistry, those who know Terri can attest that she doesn’t stray far from the principles she’s laid out for herself. She truly walks the walk and talks the talk of a Christian woman.

For 40-plus years, Mansfield Family Dentistry has focused on building relationships, treating people with respect, and making patients feel like family. “We want to make a difference through listening and addressing the needs of our patients and by helping them achieve their dental goals,” Terri said. “It’s a blessing for others to build great relationships with our patients and staff.”

One of the great joys in Terri’s life is leading others to the Lord, whether it’s in word or deed. “I strive to be a compassionate caring leader,” she said. “To be impeccable with my word, to set an example through my action, and to live my God-given values, to empower those around me through knowledge, education, and love, to be a good listener and walk through fire for those who walk with me. I strive to preach the gospel at all times, when necessary even use words.”
