Her path to dentistry was shaped by personal experience. Facing jaw surgery as a teenager, she gained profound insights into the dental field. This experience, coupled with her personal interests and innate talents, steered her towards dentistry, a career decision she’s so happy she made.

“I absolutely love what I do,” she says. “My favorite part about being a dentist is seeing my patients smile at the end of treatment and knowing that I was able to play a small part in transforming their daily life.”

Dr. Barge earned her dental doctorate from Texas A&M College of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency at the Olin E. Teague VA Hospital in Temple. Since then, she’s been committed to continuous learning, attending programs like the Core Curriculum for complex restorative and aesthetic cases at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute. She’s a charter member of the local Seattle Study Club and belongs to numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Texas Dental Association.

Dr. Barge is especially proud of being named a Texas Super Dentist by Texas Monthly an impressive 14 times, a feat that earned her a place in the Texas Super Dentist Hall of Fame. “It’s truly an honor to be recognized by my peers in the dental field,” she says.

Dr. Barge recognizes that providing exceptional dentistry is a team effort. “I appreciate my team so much,” she says. “Their dedication and enthusiasm make our practice what it is — a welcoming place where patients feel cared for and valued.”

Her team became a family affair when her husband, Devin, joined the practice in 2006, leveraging his background in sales and business development to serve as the office manager. Together, they’ve not only nurtured a successful dental practice but also raised their children, Taylor and Coleman, in the Flower Mound community.

Outside of work, Dr. Barge enjoys quality time with Devin and their loved ones, whether they’re watching a movie or traveling to a new destination. “We purposely take time off throughout the year to be with family,” she says. “Spending time with family and our four dogs is what truly recharges us.”
