When Amanda Kendall started Kendall Kreationz, it was simply a side hustle while navigating the unpredictable mortgage industry. However, what began as a small yard sign business in January 2022 quickly evolved into a full-scale event décor company specializing in balloons, backdrops, and luxury event rentals.

Amanda shares, “As I worked through the ebbs and flows of the mortgage industry, I knew I needed something stable, and that really pushed me to take Kendall Kreationz from a part-time gig to a full-time business.”

Today, Kendall Kreationz is a staple in the Rockwall area, offering balloon installations, backdrops, and a helium bar. They cater to weddings, corporate events, quinceañeras, and private parties. “We’ve expanded our services to include linens, centerpieces, and luxury event rentals,” Amanda says. “We saw a need for high-quality, stylish décor in Rockwall without clients having to pay high delivery fees from Dallas.”

Standing Out in the Event Industry

While there are many event décor businesses in the area, Kendall Kreationz prides itself on collaboration rather than competition. “I don’t consider similar businesses competitors,” Amanda explains. “No one company can handle every event in Rockwall or Dallas County. I’ve built great relationships with other event decorators, and if I’m in a pinch, I can lean on them.”

One of the company’s standout features is staying ahead of trends. “We draw inspiration from top designers in New York and Vegas to bring the latest event styles to Rockwall,” Amanda says. “Right now, the LoveShackFancy aesthetic is huge — soft pinks, floral arrangements, and big satin bows. Our five-foot bows are really popular for bridal and baby showers.”

Kendall Kreationz also provides an immersive showroom experience. “Brides and DIY event planners can come in, browse our inventory, and rent linens, centerpieces, and backdrops without breaking the bank,” she adds.

A Unique Touch for Special Moments

For Amanda, the heart of the business lies in making celebrations memorable. “The best part of what we do is bringing a vision to life,” she says. “Whether it’s a wedding, a baby shower, or even something as simple as a helium balloon bouquet, we get to be a part of those special moments.”

The company has also seen a surge in demand for its helium bar, especially since Party City closed its doors. “We’re one of the few places in the area with a commercial-grade helium tank,” Amanda explains. “Customers can bring in their own balloons from Amazon or Dollar Tree, and we’ll fill them up. It’s affordable, and we’re conveniently located right off I-30 and 205.”

With four years in business, Kendall Kreationz continues to grow. Whether it’s a large-scale wedding or a simple birthday balloon order, Amanda and her team make every event picture-perfect. “We take those Pinterest and Instagram-worthy ideas and turn them into reality,” she says.
