Dr. Cassandra Wilson, the owner of Hearing Services of McKinney, wants people to hear life to the fullest. “I tell my patients, ‘You didn’t work hard all your life to not enjoy it anymore.’ Many of my patients have moved closer to their grandkids. They should be able to hear them,” Dr. Wilson says.
For almost 20 years, she has worked with people of all ages to help improve their quality of life through better hearing. She earned her Doctor of Audiology from Texas Tech University and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Dallas Audiology Society, American Academy of Audiology, and Texas Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Wilson stands out not only for her professional expertise but also for her personable approach to patient care. Beyond just diagnosing and treating hearing loss, she sees each interaction as an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
“I truly enjoy spending time with my patients,” she says. “I’ve known many of them for years. They’re not just patients — they’ve become friends.”
Outside of work, Dr. Wilson is an avid gardener, an activity she has nurtured since her upbringing on a farm. “People always ask me about my gardens,” she says. “I have 12 acres and two good-size gardens.”
Just as Dr. Wilson tends to her gardens with care, she approaches her patient relationships the same way — cultivating them into flourishing friendships.
