Last month, Sherry unveiled something new to the public — her stunning abstract artwork. Featured in a solo art exhibition sponsored by Redfish Capital, Sherry sold 12 of her original pieces. Earning over $4,000 from her first and unplanned art exhibit enabled Sherry, an animal lover, to donate $2,000 to local animal shelters.

“I started painting when I realized art is the only way you can run away without leaving home,” Sherry says. With finished works piling up, she began hanging them in the office and received many compliments. “I was painting just for me, not to sell, but people seemed to really like the artwork. When it caught the eye of one of my client’s friends, he suggested an art show. I thought, why not?”

The exhibit came together quickly and the show was a great success. “It was lots of fun for me and for our clients, and we made new friends and clients,” Sherry says. “Creating art is a great way for me to unwind and enjoy time away from the business thoughts 24/7. I started a new Facebook page called Summers-Ball Art for those interested.”
