When Regina Cook’s feet hit the floor each morning, one thought is foremost in her mind: How can she help improve and maintain her health, her husband’s health, and the health of her family, friends, and patients? “I feel like that’s God’s plan for me,” she said.

Regina’s journey began when, as a senior in high school, she was injured in a car accident. “My primary care doctor offered me prescription pain killers and muscle relaxers,” Regina said. “I didn’t feel right about that.”

Instead, she visited a chiropractor and found the relief she was seeking — drug-free — and then eventually went to work for him. She even considered chiropractic college for herself. But life intervened and she went to work for a corporate ad agency working with Fortune 500 companies around the globe — most healthcare related — building agencies, managing and growing them as well as building her own agencies.

Now as the wife of a chiropractor, she happily works beside him, organizing the business, operating as practice director, and providing nutritional counseling and health coaching to complement his chiropractic care. As a certified nutritionist, she partners with patients to help them not only feel better but truly get better, with minimal pharmaceutical or surgical intervention.

“We treat patients suffering with peripheral neuropathy, chronic knees and shoulders, cranial issues such as migraines, TMJ, concussion, and more, helping their bodies heal from the inside,” she said.

Regina lives for when patients tells her they were able to get off pharmaceuticals or greatly reduce what they’re taking. “I’m helping many get off statin drugs, painkillers, mental-health drugs, and more,” she said.

“Optimal health starts from within, and nutrition plays a pivotal role in achieving overall wellness,” Regina said. “Because each patient is unique, it’s important we begin case with no preconceived notions about the recommendations we’ll make. We want to tailor dietary and supplement recommendations to specifically meet each patient’s unique biological needs.”

Her own struggles with serious autoimmune issues inform her practice. “I know what proper nutrition has done for me,” Regina said. “My greatest joy is digging in deep with my patients and helping them not only feel better but get better with whole foods and the cleanest nutritional supplements vs. synthetic nutrition and pharmaceuticals.”

Regina witnesses miracles every day. “Patients come to us in great pain and distress and through chiropractic care, acupuncture, neuropathy solutions, unique cranial work, cold therapy, decompression therapy, and nutritional counseling, we’re able to see them truly get better and live their best lives.”

When not on the job, Regina loves to garden, travel with her husband, and spend time with her son and other family, friends, and her three rescue pups. “We both love to learn, so much of our travel centers around conferences and classes,” she said. She’s a big supporter of Lakepointe Church, CASA, Habitat for Humanity, the Shriners, and anything that “helps families be successful together.”
