Nestled right off the downtown Rockwall square sits a historic building bustling with excitement, laughter, and purpose. The second floor is home to a women’s equipping ministry called Choose to Soar.

Founded by CEO and Bible Teacher, Tanya Magnus, Choose to Soar is designed by women for women. Through biblical teaching, the ministry equips and empowers women to discover and live out God’s intended purpose for their lives. Weekly studies, weekend retreats, and one-day trainings help prepare women to serve their families, communities, churches, workplaces, and organizations with clarity and confidence.

One of the ministry’s most distinctive qualities is its interdenominational reach. In just three years, women from over 90 different churches have walked through its doors. Women from Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, non-denominational, Presbyterian, and Lutheran backgrounds sit side by side— along with women who don’t currently attend church at all.

Together, they are discovering their God-given purpose. They are learning to read and fall in women experience genuine community, spiritual growth, and lasting transformation. Every woman is strengthened in her faith and equipped to return to her everyday life with renewed purpose. Choose to Soar is not simply creating consumers of faith—they are developing women who actively contribute to the Kingdom of God. During a recent Thursday morning Bible study, attendees were asked to finish the statement: “I went to Choose to Soar, and I found…”
