Primrose Schools lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning through purposeful play and nurturing guidance. Primrose Schools in the Woodlands and Spring are guided by inspiring women who serve their communities through their commitment to caring for children while offering a strong foundation for their success.
Don and Arlena McLaughlin, owners of Primrose Schools of the Woodlands and Spring for 26 years, have mentored and trained and empowered their team to provide a combination of child-care services and a strong educational foundation for children in The Woodlands and Spring area.
Education has always been important to Don and Arlena. Montgomery County’s exemplary rated schools were the reason the McLaughlin’s relocated to The Woodlands from Huntsville in 1996 with their sons.
Balanced Learning
Primrose’s exclusive Balanced Learning© approach brings together the best early education wisdom with modern research and learning science to inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion for a lifelong love of learning. This approach involves Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts.
The Active Minds component features hands-on learning and teacher guided lessons that help children develop reasoning skills. Healthy Bodies helps young children develop healthy habits over time and with consistency. Happy Hearts Character Development and Life Skills programs teach the importance of values like respect, friendship, and honesty in school, at home, and in your community.
The McLaughlins sought out strong, nurturing leaders to direct and mentor staff and support Primrose School families.
