The Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute thanks the Greater Mansfield community for the trust it has placed in Dr. G. Todd Moore and Dr. Nicholas Martin. The growth in the number and strength of patient relationships has enabled OSMI to establish a robust practice. OSMI now offers walk – in clinic hours Mondays 8 AM to 11 AM and 1 to 4 PM and Fridays 8 AM to 2 PM. New building construction is underway on US Hwy 287 South between Heritage Parkway and Lone Star Road. OSMI’s goal is to continue to earn the community’s trust through superior service and performance.

Nicholas E. Martin, MD

An Arlington native, Dr. Martin and his family have established their home in Mansfield. Dr. Martin completed his fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in 2021. A lifelong golfer, bicyclist, and sports fan, Dr. Martin is passionate about helping others enjoy the activities they love. “I love doing a job that helps people enjoy a more active lifestyle,” he said. “People feel better when they’re moving.”

An orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in total-joint replacements, Dr. Martin completed an extra year of fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic focusing on robotic hip and knee replacements. “I also specialize in the anterior hip approach,” he said. “This specialized training in robotics and the anterior hip approach gives patients better results with much less down time.”

Dr. Martin’s goal is to restore his patients’ mobility and improve their quality of life. “I chose a career in medicine because it allows me to help people on a daily basis,” he said.” I find joy in watching my patients return to their favorite activities and sports. And I believe in exploring all non-invasive treatments before considering surgery.”

G. Todd Moore, DO

A lifelong athlete and varsity football player at the University of South Carolina, Dr. Todd Moore now spends his days helping others enjoy the activities they love. As a board-certified and fellowship-trained sports medicine doctor and orthopedic surgeon, he specializes in all aspects of orthopedics with special interests in hip and knee arthroplasty, fracture care, and pediatric orthopedics. “Kids are dear to my heart,” he said. “I have a special love for and skill with newborns, toddlers, and youth.” In fact, many local physicians send their own kids to him.

A recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award for Most Compassionate Doctor, Dr. Moore has practiced orthopedic medicine in the Fort Worth area since 2012. With a bedside manner that’s attentive and deeply compassionate, he approaches patient care and medical decisions as though he’s making them for his own family.

Dr. Moore has coached sports, started a mentoring program for middle schoolers, and keeps himself fit with running and resistance training. He’s a devoted father of two and he and his family live in Midlothian.

Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Institute covers many local high school sports teams. Find out more at OSMIFW.com.
