Dr. Paul Gill has never been the type to rest on his laurels. A native of Cypress, Dr. Gill returned to his hometown 15 years ago with the goal of being the go-to specialist for residents facing complex brain and central nervous system conditions ranging from chronic migraines and strokes to epilepsy, tremors, brain injuries, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, and even dementia. When you or your loved one were at your wit’s end, Dr. Gill and his team at Gill Neuroscience seemingly always had an answer to delay the progress of life-altering conditions and reduce symptom severity. And that is still true to this day.

And yet, Dr. Gill still felt like more could be done. He hopes Evolve MD Wellness & Aesthetics Med Spa answers that challenge.

“It’s a brand-new wellness clinic with an established neurologist behind it,” Dr. Gill’s wife, Ruhee Grewal, said. Both Gill Neuroscience and Evolve MD are located side-by-side in the same building. “It’s a chance to complement the specialized care he offers existing patients with additional services such as IV drips, hormone therapy, and more to promote overall wellness. He saw a need in this community to have more wellness options. He went with it and poured all of his heart into this new med spa.”

Meet Dr. Gill

Dr. Gill completed his residency in neurology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he was chief resident in his final year. He then served as an assistant professor of neurology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and established the university’s first satellite clinic in Edmond to offer care to a broader population segment. In 2009, Dr. Gill returned to his hometown and established Gill Neuroscience. He also played a pivotal role in opening the North Cypress Medical Center’s premiere Stroke Center, where he continues to serve as the stroke medical director. Dr. Gill has also been selected as the chair of the Department of Neurosciences at North Cypress Medical Center-HCA.

Dr. Gill continues to be involved in cutting-edge clinical research trials and has published his work in well-regarded scientific journals. He uses state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies to analyze brain and nerve functions, ensuring patients receive a timely and accurate assessment of their condition.

With Evolve MD Wellness & Aesthetics Med Spa, he hopes to extend care into other areas of his patient’s needs that previously weren’t being addressed. The benefit of having both practices in one location means they continue receiving care from the same staff without having to be referred out to other professionals who, while qualified, don’t have intimate knowledge of their unique needs.

“This is personal for him,” Grewal said. “He lost his dad to Parkinson’s, and his dear mother died from cancer. We have three children, and our daughter, Yana (10), previously needed blood transfusions because of her anemia. She can now go to her dad’s clinic to receive care when needed. Paul is constantly booked. He sees 30-40 patients each day and spends a lot of time with them.”

A Team Approach

As previously mentioned, Dr. Gill has a fantastic team surrounding him. And that includes Evolve MD. Dominic King, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, has been by Dr. Gill’s side for years at Gill Neuroscience and is now heading up the wellness arm of the med spa. King earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Louisiana -Lafayette and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas. She has over 20 years of nursing experience and is a board certified family nurse practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Rounding out the team is the trio of Azhia Jolivette, Dollie Phillips, and Diana Vial. Jolivette is an accomplished aesthetician with over 10 years of experience working for several well-known establishments, and she has an impressive following of loyal clients. Phillips is also a certified aesthetician and holds several certifications in many of the popular services at Evolve MD. Lastly, Vial brings more than 30 years of receptionist experience to the table and is almost always the first smiling face you see when walking through the front door.

“I hope everyone realizes the benefits,” Grewal said. “This is another way to help people, and Dr. Gill has a great team around him.”
