Dr. Liz knows firsthand the difference a
healthy metabolism can make because it made a difference for her. In her 20s,
she’d tried every diet and exercise plan available. She was pushing herself
at the gym, foregoing alcohol, and eating a pristine diet. She skipped
celebrations and parties for fear of blowing her diet or because she didn’t
feel good in her clothes. She’d tried protein shakes, juice fasting, Adkins,
you name it. She spent a fortune on personal trainers, body treatments, and
detoxes. But nothing ever lasted.

All that changed when Liz started addressing
her metabolism. “I have a better metabolism now than I did in my 20s,” she
said. “I have a healthier relationship with food and eat the things I love
that nourish my body and give me energy. The best part is I feel good in my skin.”
Liz spends her days now sharing this knowledge with Moya and others like
her.

“A lot of people go on diets hoping if they
eat less the weight will come off, but that’s not true for everyone,” Liz
said. “If you have a slow metabolism, you can be doing everything right and
not lose any significant weight. It’s all about human physiology. By
combining food in the right way to get your body working right you will
positively impact your metabolism. A stronger, healthy, fasting metabolism is
what makes losing weight easy.”

MoyaMoya

In her younger years, Moya could eat what she
wanted and never gain weight. Then, she developed rheumatoid arthritis and
was unable to exercise. If she tried, it added stress to her joints and
increased her arthritis pain. By the time she visited Dr. Liz Graves at Back
2 Real Food, Moya was almost 50 years old, she was 80 pounds overweight, and
feeling hopeless. “I didn’t really believe Dr. Liz could help me,” she said.
“But I was so miserable I decided to give it a try.”

At first Moya wasn’t sure she could change
her eating habits the way Dr. Liz was recommending. But she loved that
nothing was prepackaged. This was real food and things she liked. “Instead of
eating low-fat, I learned to eat healthy fat like olive oil or coconut oil,”
Moya said. “I was eating healthy meat and fish and my favorite
vegetables.”

The most important thing was that Moya’s plan
was unique to her. Dr. Liz worked with her to find out what works for her
specific body, introducing foods one at a time and teaching Moya how to
monitor her own body to see how it was reacting to each new food. As her
excess pounds started coming off, Moya was able to exercise again. She
visited her rheumatologist who told her that her arthritis was in remission.
“He couldn’t believe it,” Moya said. “I went to Back 2 Real Food less to lose
weight than to improve my health. As the food I ate began healing me, the
pounds just came off.”

Moya has lost 100 pounds and four dress sizes
and gotten off all medication. She recently ran her first  5K and
made a trip to Disney World with her family, where she was the one
encouraging everyone else to keep going. Most importantly, Moya feels great
and is excited to be teaching her son and daughter all the things she’s
learned. “This is definitely the best investment I’ve ever made in myself,”
Moya said.

DebbieDebbie

Debbie was doing everything right, eating
right and exercising. Yet, in four months she only lost 10 pounds before
hitting a two-month plateau. She started Back 2 Real Food and was able to
lose 17 pounds and two dress sizes in just five weeks by targeting her
metabolism with real food. Her workouts got easier and — best of all — she’s
kept the weight off for five years and achieved other goals in her fitness
journey, beating personal records and outperforming her peers in fitness
competitions.

TracyTracy

After losing 60 pounds with the help of Back
2 Real Food, Tracy is on 75% less insulin, saving herself $5,000 last year
alone. She’s in a size six for the first time since high school and loves her
new body confidence. She feels confident in her eating choices, too. She and
her husband are enjoying an active social life and Tracy finds it easy to
indulge in all her favorite foods and still be diligent about supporting her
health and metabolism with her choices.
