Plano Veterans Day assembly Plano Veterans Day assembly Plano students gather to honor service members

Faculty, staff and students at Plano’s Faith Lutheran School gathered on Veterans Day last month with military veterans, special guests, and others for a special recognition program.

“This event was a way for us to show our respect for our country and to express our thanks to veterans who have given so much so that we may enjoy many freedoms,” said Faith Lutheran School Headmaster Rev. Stephen W. Kieser of Wylie.

The event featured appearances by City of Plano Council Members Kayci Prince and Lily Bao and a variety of community veterans from all branches of the military.

The event also included choir performances, a flag folding ceremony, veteran recognition and more.
