Dr. Mohandes believes a good dental practice should offer comprehensive family care and convenience with ultimate patient comfort in mind. She and her team prioritize patients’ needs by providing quality care in a clean, modern environment equipped with the latest technological advancements in dentistry. She sees patients of all ages, beginning at six months, and offers a wide variety of services. Her gentle touch and warm demeanor is calm and reassuring. She’s especially attentive to children’s needs and can relate to various circumstances adults may be experiencing as well.

“We believe each patient’s needs are unique,” Dr. Mohandes says. “Almost all of our services are performed in house.” For patients’ convenience, they’re in network with most PPO insurance plans and offer a variety of promotions to new patients.

Her caring team are all local residents, striving to make every appointment comforting, nurturing, and soothing. To quell heightened nerves and anxiety for apprehensive patients, nitrous oxide sedation is offered. “Whatever makes our patients comfortable and happy is our priority.”

Combining her love of art, science, and medicine, Dr. Mohandes knew a career in dentistry would be a fulfilling way to help others. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania. She spent an additional four years earning her master’s degree. She practiced as an associate dentist for 15 years before opening her private practice, FM Dentistry & Orthodontics, less than a year ago in Katy/Fulshear. Her patients’ positive five-star reviews – more than 200 in less than a year – are a testament to her dedication to providing others with outstanding service.

Devoting her time at local events and visiting local schools, Dr. Mohandes educates her community and students about the importance of maintaining healthy mouths and daily dental care. Her leisure time is spent with her husband and family, watching their son, Ali, participate in sports and activities, and taking their daughter, Laya, to piano, gymnastics, and painting lessons. Dr. Mohandes enjoys swimming, exercising, traveling, listening to music, and watching movies.
