For Stephanie Goff, leadership begins with clarity, connection, and a commitment to serving others well. As the founder of Verity Benefits Group (serving Rockwall and surrounding areas), she leads with both strategy and heart — guiding her agency, mentoring her team, and educating communities on navigating the often-complex world of health insurance.

At the helm of her growing agency, Goff takes a forward-thinking approach to leadership. She oversees strategy, operations, and expansion, all while recruiting and developing agents across varying levels of experience. “Some come in already licensed and just need support,” she says. “Others are brand new, and I’m walking them through every step — from getting licensed to learning how to serve clients.” Rather than applying a one-size-fits- all model, she tailors her leadership style to each individual, meeting agents where they are and helping them succeed on their own terms.

That same adaptability carries into her role as an industry educator. Goff is frequently called upon to train both agents and professionals within the healthcare space. From leading product-specific trainings for national agent networks to educating medical office staff on Medicare and insurance fundamentals, she has become a trusted voice in the field. This summer, she will expand that reach even further, providing training to hundreds of students at Parker University — future chiropractors preparing to enter the workforce or launch their own practices. “It’s about giving people the knowledge they need to make confident decisions,” she says.

While her professional leadership is extensive, Goff’s impact reaches well beyond her business. She is an active leader with ACAP (Adult Children of Aging Parents), where she serves as finance and sponsorship leader for the Dallas and Collin County chapter. The organization provides free education

and support for caregivers navigating the challenges of caring for aging loved ones. “We’re helping people balance life, work, and caregiving,” she explains. “It’s an incredible resource for the community.”

At the core of Goff’s leadership style is a blend of structure and sincerity. She describes herself as highly organized and forward- thinking, someone who prefers to plan ahead rather than react in the moment. But it’s her emphasis on personal connection that truly sets her apart. “I want my clients and my team to feel like family,” she says. “That relationship matters.” She recalls the loss of a longtime client as a deeply emotional moment — one that reflects just how personally she invests in those she serves.

Whether working with individuals, families, or small business owners, Goff remains focused on education, trust, and long-term relationships to design smart, sustainable insurance strategies — across health, life, and supplemental benefits. Her ability to lead them in their journey to find protection today and being prepared for what’s ahead with both intention and empathy continues to shape not only her business, but the lives of those she serves — proving that true leadership is as much about connection as it is about direction.

“We’re helping people balance life, work, and caregiving. It’s an incredible resource
for the community.””
