From poodle grooming to East Dallas residential brokerage, Marsue, with hard work and determination, made her own way in real estate.
A Dallas native, Marsue Williams has real estate in her DNA as her mother, Sue, was a broker in Oak Lawn. Sue was also the first MLS broker in Rowlett, her childhood home and cotton farm. Marsue attended Stephen J. Hay Elementary and North Dallas High School (NDHS), and today she serves on one of the alumni boards at NDHS that renders financial assistance to students that DISD won’t or can’t fund.
After graduating from North Texas, she taught at Spence JH, and for extra money, groomed poodles. That was how she bought her first tract of land. She then became licensed and started her career assembling large tracts of farmland between Preston and Highway 75 for developers and Dallas investors. She was on the ground floor of the Historic Downtown McKinney renovation after selling five buildings on the square. She developed residential neighborhoods and multi-use projects, and brokered retail and small office projects before eventually moving to Residential Brokerage. She is a multi-blue-ribbon winner at the State Fair with her jams and glazes with her label, “Marsue’s Kitchen.” Additionally, she and her husband support 10 local nonprofits that serve North Texas.
