Together with Dr. Ross Moulder, Drs. Holly Fisher Britt, Thuy Lieu, and Laura E. Wiese spend their days keeping patients’ eyes working at their best. Let’s meet these leading women.

Laura E. Wiese, OD

For 27 years, Dr. Wiese has provided sight and medical-eye healthcare to adults and children. Dr. Wiese is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and exceptionally experienced in the field of optometry. “Clear vision begins with healthy eyes,” she said. Dr. Wiese specializes in dry eye, using individualized modalities of treatment and optimal vision correction utilizing various lens options, such as anti-fatigue lenses and NeuroLens, to help people see more clearly and comfortably. Dr. Wiese is a member of Dallas County Optometric Society, the TOA, and the AOA. She graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees. Raised in the piney woods of East Texas, she resides in Rockwall with her husband and two cats.

Thuy Lieu, OD

Arlington girl, Dr. Lieu spent 10 years practicing optometry across DFW before joining Eyecare Rockwall. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, but her real joy is caring for pediatric patients with whom she has a natural rapport. She’s passionate about myopia management, treatments to help slow near-sighted progression in children. Dr. Lieu is experienced in designing various kinds of contact lenses for her patients, including soft, rigid-gas permeable, hybrid, ortho-K and scleral lenses. “I love being able to help my patients see their best for years to come,” she said. Dr. Lieu and her husband stay busy raising their two young children, while being active in various organizations in the Lake Ray Hubbard community.

Holly Fisher Britt, OD

Dr. Britt is the founding optometrist and owner of Eyecare Rockwall. She began her own practice in the Rowlett/Rockwall area over 30 years ago and continues to serve her patients while managing and directing the current multi-doctor private office. Dr. Britt is a Diplomate with the American Board of Optometry and contributing member of the AOA and TOA in the preservation and pursuit of scope expansion for future Texas optometrists. She’s a trusted mentor to other practicing optometrists, optometry school students, and students interested in the profession of optometry. A member of various Rockwall philanthropic and business organizations, Dr. Britt has been awarded the prestigious Dr. William S. Harris Memorial Gold Award as well as the Helen Keller Award for Sight Preservation by The Rowlett Lions Club 20 years of volunteer work. “Your eyes tell the story for your total body health,” Dr. Britt said. “Often, it’s an optometrist who first notices a patient’s overall systemic health issues.”

Eyecare Rockwall offers everything from routine eye exams to medical management for patients on high-risk medications, glaucoma, diabetic eyecare, macular degeneration, dry eyes, infections, and injuries as well as co-management for cataract surgery, LASIK/PRK surgeries, eye plastics, and more.
