Local Baseballers Take Championship

he Colleyville Heritage baseball team won its first UIL 5A State Championship

The Colleyville Heritage baseball team won its first UIL 5A State Championship with a 14-2 win over Georgetown in the title game at Dell Diamond in Round Rock last month. The Panthers (39-3) broke a UIL 5A title game record with 18 hits. Joey Koetting was named MVP. The state title comes in the same week that three Panthers, Bobby Whitt Jr., Logan Britt, and Mason Greer, were selected in the MLB Draft. Congrats to all!
