The Christmas elves at Gaylord Texan Resort are hard at work once again, building a magical winter wonderland for visitors to enjoy this holiday season! The resort’s annual Lone Star Christmas will feature a variety of holiday activities, live entertainment, and grand décor to celebrate the season! Beginning November 15 and running through January 5, 2020, the biggest holiday in Texas will feature:
- 2 million holiday lights decorating the resort
- 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice
- An eight-land snow tubing hill

Activities and events will include:
ICE! featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas
The hotel’s signature holiday attraction is back with a new theme for 2019, featuring two-story ice slides and larger-than-life ice sculptures of Charlie Brown and the gang in a walk-through winter wonderland hand-carved from more than two million pounds of ice.
Snow Tubing
It’s going to SNOW at Gaylord Texan! Grab a tube and enjoy a thrilling ride down the eight lane tubing hill made with two million pounds of real snow!
Ice Skating
Enjoy a perfect day or evening under the stars by going on a yuletide glide at Gaylord Texan’s 6,000 square-foot outdoor ice rink. Christmas in Grapevine has never been more fun!
There will also be holiday stories and sing alongs with Mrs. Claus, a gingerbread decorating corner with a Gingerbread Man meet and greet, a Build-A-Bear Workshop, breakfast with Charlie Brown and Friends, a Merry Snoopy Christmas scavenger hunt, Santa’s snow throw, and plenty of holiday cheer.
