As owner of Conserva Irrigation NW Dallas, Talitha Schmidt has earned the trust of DFW homeowners by solving one of outdoor living’s most common and often overlooked challenges: inefficient irrigation. Now, she is building on that success with the launch of Smart Yard Landscaping DFW, a natural evolution that brings irrigation, landscaping, drainage, and design together under one roof.

Talitha did not originally set out to work in the irrigation industry, but after seeing firsthand how much water and money homeowners were wasting, she recognized an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Over the past five years, she has grown Conserva Irrigation into a respected local company known for honest recommendations, clear communication, and results that last.

As her client base grew, so did their needs. Homeowners began looking beyond sprinkler repairs, asking for help reimagining their entire outdoor spaces. That demand led to the creation of Smart Yard Landscaping DFW.

With a strong foundation in irrigation, Talitha approaches landscaping with a long-term perspective. Her designs prioritize not only curb appeal but also efficiency, sustainability, and durability. “When you understand irrigation first, you can make better decisions about how to create a beautiful landscape in Texas that actually lasts,” she says.

Outside of her business, Talitha is deeply rooted in the community she calls home, having grown up in the Lewisville and Flower Mound area. She serves as president of the National Charity League Texas Lantana Chapter, is actively involved in the Argyle Business Association, and enjoys life with her husband and children.
