Growing up in a small town in East Texas, DeAnna Irvin always wanted to be a missionary. “I wanted to share the good Word and help people in need,” she said.

DeAnna became a wife and mother and opened her own fitness business. “I was able to share my knowledge of nutrition and exercise and help people develop a healthy lifestyle and self-empowerment to improve their quality of life through my Designer Bodies Fitness business,” she said.

Moving to the Dallas area to advance her career, Deanna was hired by Oasis Pickleball & Beach Club owner, Darren Rak. “This advanced my career to a whole new level. I’m delighted to be a leader to the staff here at the Adventure Park of Rockwall, Urban Air, and Oasis Pickleball & Beach Club,” she said.

DeAnna manages a diverse staff and oversees the hosting of everything from hi-energy birthday parties, private events and memberships.

During the off-season, more than 60 part-time youth and 10 full- time adults work alongside DeAnna. “During our hot season — literally — we employ more than 80 youth and 15 adults. It takes an amazing team to run the Adventure Park of Rockwall and I cherish the opportunity to be a steppingstone in their lives,” she said.

“So, while I may not be a missionary in a foreign land, I feel my mission field is right here in the gorgeous 25 acres of the Adventure Park of Rockwall, Urban Air and Oasis Pickleball & Beach Club.”
