Brigette Koetter, DDS, and Rebecca Harper, DDS

Dr. Brigette Koetter, owner of Dental Professionals of Rockwall, has been a leader in her community for the past 17 years, providing comprehensive dentistry to multiple generations of families in the Rockwall area. In addition to her top priority of optimal oral care for her patients, giving back to her community is one of her many passions. Fervently serving others is truly what she enjoys most.

“Of all the ways I serve my community, I think I am proudest of the support I continue to give women by mentoring the next generation of dental assistants,” she said. Students in the dental assisting program through Rockwall and Heath High School choose Dr. Koetter’s practice to acquire their certification hours and explore different areas of the dental field. Many are considering the option of becoming a dentist or dental hygienist. The program enables them to graduate high school with their Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credentials.

These women learn from Dr. Koetter and her team that relationships fostered in a professional setting stress the importance of aiding and engaging with others. “Within our office, they realize how enjoyable it is to have a dental family made up of great patients and a dedicated, compassionate staff,” Dr. Koetter explained. She strives to be a key part of her patients’ lives and enjoys getting to know them and their families on a personal level.

Supporting Her Community Through Volunteering

Dr. Koetter loves to spend quality time with her children, volunteering their help and assistance to others. Together, they’ve acquired more than 100 hours of volunteer service. “Some of our favorites are Meals on Wheels and the Hope Delivered organization,” she said. “We enjoy meeting and visiting with new acquaintances and feeding them meals.

For the past two years, Dr. Koetter has been a board member of Young Men’s Service League, Rockwall Heath chapter. Spending quality time together, mothers and sons serve together to impact their local community.

Prior to that, she was a founding member and served on the board of the National Charity League, Texas Pearl Chapter for four years. She was also the president of Aspasians, a women’s volunteer organization supporting the community through service and fundraising for college scholarships awarded to local high school seniors.

As a leading woman in the Rockwall community, Dr. Koetter was voted Best Of in Living Magazine’s Readers’ Choice awards in 2025, thanks to her wonderful patients. “We believe exceptional dentistry starts with time, expertise, and attention to detail,” she said. Treating patients like family, her warm demeanor facilitates the comfort and confidence needed for developing trusted doctor-patient relationships and friendships for a lifetime.

A Tight Team of Female Dental Professionals

Dr. Koetter is proud to surround herself with a cohesive team of strong women who bring varied capabilities and expertise to her practice. “I’m blessed to be working with people who love what they do,” she said. “We’re well-educated in the field of dentistry and demonstrate how healthy relationships facilitate a successful work environment.”

Dr. Rebecca Harper is thrilled to have joined the Rockwall Dental Professionals’ team as an associate. A proud alumna of Texas A&M University, she joined the team one year ago, bringing new techniques in general and cosmetic dentistry. “As the Rockwall community continues to flourish, adding Dr. Harper to my team allows us more accessibility and additional time to spend with our growing family of patients,” Dr. Koetter said.

Dr. Koetter’s award-winning work in prosthodontics and orthodontics is highly regarded. She focuses on elevating a patient’s dental experience with their overall health and wellbeing in mind. “I’m proud to provide personalized care and treatment because your smile and health deserve it,” she said.

Conveniently providing comprehensive in-office dental services under one roof, Dr. Koetter takes full advantage of the latest innovations in dentistry services, providing convenience and continuity of care throughout a patient’s treatment plan. These include intraoral cameras, digital X-rays, same-day CEREC crowns, and oral appliances.

She sees patients of all age groups, from toddlers to adults, and believes investing in extensive continuing education courses strengthens her wealth of knowledge and skills. Educating herself on an ongoing basis, she remains up to date with the latest technology and equipment. This level of dedication and expertise proves her to be a leader in the field of dentistry. She’s also an active member of a round-table study club that reviews difficult cases and creates the best solutions for patients. This allows her to develop cohesive treatment plans for patients with many favorable options.

Family Time

Dr. Koetter is a member of First United Methodist Church Rockwall. She is the mother of three children ages 20, 16, and seven. Leisure time means enjoying weekends with her family. “I love to be out on the lake, spending time with my family and traveling to new places,” she said. She and her husband enjoy attending their son’s sporting events and visiting their eldest daughter, currently an undergraduate in pre-dental studies at their alma mater, the University of Oklahoma. Just like her mom, she wants to pursue a career in dentistry and aims to attend dental school after graduation. She works in her mother’s dental practice during summer and holiday breaks, gaining invaluable experience that will benefit her future career.

Credentials

Dr. Koetter earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2007. While in dental school, she served two years as a teaching assistant for the undergraduate orthodontic department. She was recognized as a Senior Departmental Advanced Studies program participant in orthodontics, and was honored with the John C. and Ruberta Weaver Award for Excellence in Periodontics and Prosthodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Additionally, she’s a mentor to young women through the dental assisting program in Rockwall’s Gene Burton Career Center.
