For nearly 40 years, Dr. Philip Cook has been a steady presence in North Texas, guiding patients toward healthier, more active lives through chiropractic care. Now, as he celebrates this milestone anniversary, his practice is opening a new chapter with the move to a larger location at 3671 Broadway Boulevard in Garland.

Dr. Cook says the move allows him to serve patients even better, providing more treatment rooms, expanded therapy areas, and easier parking. That patient-first philosophy has guided Cook Chiropractic Health & Wellness Center since the beginning.

Dr. Cook has been practicing since 1986 and has seen the field of chiropractic care make great strides. “Back then, it was misunderstood by much of the general public,” he says. “Now, it’s widely recognized not just for addressing back and neck pain, but for supporting overall wellness, injury prevention, and performance.”

The shift reflects how patients view their health. Many now use chiropractic care proactively, not only to recover but to stay well. “Chiropractic care plays an important role in prevention: maintaining posture, enhancing mobility, reducing stress, and improving quality of life over the long term,” he says.

This proactive, personalized approach is at the heart of Cook Chiropractic Health & Wellness Center. “For us, a concierge-style approach means that every patient receives highly personalized care and attention,” Dr. Cook says. “We take the time to really listen, to understand each person’s health goals, lifestyle, and challenges. That way, we can create a plan that’s tailored specifically to them.”

For Dr. Cook, the reward comes in the lives he sees transformed. “The most fulfilling part is seeing people’s lives change — not just their symptoms,” he says. “It’s watching someone go from struggling with pain or limitations to regaining the ability to do the things they love.”

Beyond the office, Dr. Cook and his wife, Regina, enjoy gardening, traveling, and being active in their church community. “We’re both adventure seekers,” he says, “so we enjoy exploring new places and experiences.”

The practice will soon host a celebration to honor both the new location and Dr. Cook’s 40 years of service. “Next month marks a very special milestone as I celebrate 40 years as a chiropractor,” Dr. Cook says. “It’s been an incredible journey of serving, learning, and growing alongside my patients and community.
