Meet Dr. Hazim
Peter Hazim has been practicing in Collin County since 1999. He’s a graduate of Damascus University in Syria and the University Rene’ Descartes in Paris, France. After his time in France, he accepted an internship with the Loyola VA hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where he became certified in prosthodontics.
Dr. Hazim is the proud father of two daughters, and his wife, Heidi, works by his side handling the practice’s business end. When not on the job, he enjoys cooking, cycling, working out, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He and his family volunteer together for the nonprofit Feed My Starving Children.
Meet Dr. Lazaro
Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Alberto Lazaro hails from a family of dentists. His father left a career as a medical doctor to pursue a dental career. His brother is a periodontist in London, England. So, dentistry was a natural career path for him. He particularly enjoys the aesthetic aspects of his job. “I love changing someone’s smile and helping them feel good about themselves,” he said. “I also love being able to restore function and help someone eat comfortably again.”
Dr. Lazaro completed his dental training at the University of Barcelona and his prosthodontic residency at University of Southern California before relocating to Texas. He enjoys connecting with patients, getting to know them as a whole person and helping them feel comfortable with their care. When not on the job, he enjoys being outdoors and active, running, playing tennis, traveling, and watching soccer. He has participated in medical mission trips to Africa and hopes to do so again.
