All Ears! Center is a nonprofit whose mission is to passionately guide and coach parents of children who are deaf , regardless of their family’s financial resources. In addition to Listening and Spoken Language Specialists (LSLS), the Center’s team includes Drs. Megan Marsh and Julie Cordell, highly skilled audiologists trained to serve patients ranging from infants as young as seven days old to adults in their 90s.

“We believe that children who are deaf and hard of hearing can learn to listen, speak, and read alongside their typical hearing peers,” said Lee Rech, Executive Director. “Our team leads the way in early hearing loss detection, early amplification, and collaboration between our LSL interventionists and audiologists. We prepare our children for mainstream education and socialization beginning in preschool.”

The Doctors

Dr. Marsh, co-director of audiology, has more than a decade of experience in pediatric and adult audiology, specializing in cochlear implants and hearing aids. Her research-based practices ensure all patients maximize their potential in hearing and communication development. Her approach involves a compassionate support system of encouragement and hope so that hearing loss will never stop children from achieving their dreams.

Dr. Marsh grew up in Cypress and received her undergraduate degree in communication disorders at Texas State University in San Marcos. She attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where she received her doctorate in audiology. Dr. Marsh is experienced in diagnostic audiology, hearing aids, cochlear implants, and osseo-integrated technology.

Dr. Cordell, co-director of audiology, attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in communication sciences and disorders. She obtained her doctorate of audiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Cordell has 10 years of experience in adult private practice and pediatric nonprofit speech and language centers. Her experience with diagnostic audiological evaluations and auditory brainstem response evaluations, among other distinctions, distinguish her career.

Dr. Cordell was diagnosed with hearing loss at age six, which is what led her to pursuing her dream of becoming an audiologist. She knows firsthand the struggles that families and the patient go through as a child growing up with hearing loss. She is passionate about helping her patients and families navigate hearing loss and wants to help them become the best advocate for themselves. Her patients know that having hearing loss will never limit their possibilities.

The Facts

Interestingly, 95% of infants born with hearing loss are born to hearing parents, with hearing grandparents, and hearing siblings. Most of these parents want their babies to have spoken language. All Ears! is committed to spreading awareness about this LSL option.

At All Ears! Center, a baby born with hearing loss can learn to listen and speak. Using innovative audiological management through hearing aids and cochlear implants, Drs. Marsh and Cordell are changing the lives of infants, children, and adults.
