Melinda Dzinic has a clear image in her mind of what a nurturing family home should feel like. It’s a vision rooted not in personal experience, but in hopes, longing to create for others what she once wished for herself.

“Growing up, I’d catch glimpses of what a warm, loving home could be,” she said. “Mothers preparing meals, kids doing homework around the table, dads coming home to smiles and stories — all within a space that felt safe, supportive, and full of life.” That vision became her North Star. Rather than dwell on what she didn’t have, Melinda turned it into her life’s mission: to design and build spaces that allow families to connect, thrive, and grow.

That mission gave birth to Euro Design Build, a premier design-build firm with a reputation for creating personalized, high-functioning, and aesthetically rich spaces. But while Melinda’s passion and design philosophy drive the company, she’s the first to shine the spotlight on her team.

“Euro is guided by my principles, yes, but none of this would be possible without the incredible team behind me,” she said. “I’m blessed to be surrounded by talented designers who understand our clients deeply, and a construction crew that brings our shared vision to life with precision and care. That’s really our secret sauce — this synergy between vision and execution.”

Over the past 27-plus years, Melinda and her team have worked with hundreds of families, transforming not just homes, but lives. Their process is personal and intuitive. It begins by getting to know the clients — how they live, what brings them joy, and what’s been causing discomfort in their space. “It’s not just about picking a new countertop or color palette. It’s about listening. Understanding the emotional reason behind a renovation — then creating a space that truly supports and elevates their lifestyle.”

While Euro built its reputation on masterful remodels, it recently expanded into designing clients’ custom new home builds. “When a family finds the perfect property and selects an architect, we step in to shape how the interiors feel and function,” Melinda said.

Euro Design Build also features a stunning 7,500-square-foot showroom in Farmers Branch, complete with four fully functional kitchens, showcasing premium brands like Sub-Zero, Wolf, and American-made Crystal Cabinetry. “We want our clients to experience the materials — to understand how these products will work in their homes. It’s all about creating confidence and clarity.”

Outside of the design world, Melinda is passionate about her health. She recently celebrated her 500th Pilates class, loves baking, and cherishes hosting gatherings for clients, friends, and family at her serene cabin in Broken Bow. She’s also a devoted dog mom to her two rescued German Shepherds.
