For over 30 years, she has poured her heart into building programs, recruiting top physicians, and ensuring that every patient at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center receives the highest quality care. But her story isn’t just about career success—it’s about grit, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference.

From Small-Town Roots to Big-Time Impact

Growing up in Center, Texas, Bridget learned the values of hard work and perseverance. As the first in her family to attend college, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University—an achievement that set the foundation for her future.

Her journey with Methodist Health System began at Methodist Dallas Medical Center where she helped grow Generations, the Senior Access Program and then transferred to Methodist Charlton Medical Center, where she became the first Physician Liaison. When Methodist Mansfield was still just an idea, Bridget was the first employee hired to help bring it to life. She played a crucial role in recruiting the hospital’s first physicians—a number that has since grown to over 700 providers, thanks in large part to her dedication.

Transforming Healthcare, One Innovation at a Time

Bridget doesn’t just work in healthcare—she reinvents it. Her leadership has shaped groundbreaking programs, including:

• The Past Presidents’ Walls at Methodist Charlton and Methodist Mansfield, honoring healthcare pioneers.
• The Sleep Lab, launched in 2009 to address critical sleep health needs.
• The Breast Center, designed with a spa-like atmosphere and a dedicated breast radiologist, achieving 99th percentile in patient satisfaction.
• The Heartburn Treatment Center, bringing together top specialists to diagnose and treat GERD.
• Expanding Urology Coverage, to enhance specialized care at Methodist Mansfield.
• The Ambulatory Surgery Center, developed by recruiting top-tier physicians to expand outpatient surgical care.

A Heart for Family and Community

Despite her demanding career, Bridget’s greatest joy is her family. She and her husband Sean have been married for 34 years and raised three children together. In memory of their late daughter, she established The Kaitlyn Elise Flaherty Memorial Scholarship, awarded annually to a Midlothian High School senior pursuing a degree in education. This scholarship is more than financial support—it’s a reflection of Bridget’s deep belief in the power of education and giving back.

Outside of work, Bridget enjoys movies, gardening, photography, pickleball, and, most of all, time with loved ones. Her ability to balance a thriving career with a rich personal life is a testament to her resilience and passion for living.
