Dr. Joshua Prentice didn’t get into practicing dentistry 10 years ago to win awards. Prentice Dental was recently voted Best Family Dental Practice in this year’s Best of Denton County awards. They were also a runner-up for Best Cosmetic Dentist and Best General Dentist. That’s saying something, considering the limited time Prentice Dental has been in Flower Mound and the choices families already have for their oral care.

Dr. Prentice has been a recognized leader since he graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry and opened his first practice in 2014. A self-proclaimed technology nerd, he’s often the first dentist in his area to pioneer the latest technological breakthroughs — to the point where he’s caught the attention of some of the nation’s top dental technology companies. These days, he routinely divides his time between a thriving practice, being called upon as a keynote speaker and thought leader at dental conferences nationwide, training other dentists, conducting webinars, and contributing to articles on the latest in dental AI.

His leadership is bolstered by over 150 hours of continuing education annually, keeping him at the forefront of modern dental innovations.
