Founder Dr. Todd Brantley is dedicated to providing the highest quality optometric care in a comfortable, friendly environment. A lifelong athlete, he saw firsthand how contact lenses helped change his life for the better. “I began wearing contact lenses in middle school,” he says. “It was life-changing to be able to do things I couldn’t do before.”
He always knew he wanted to help people, and after getting some insight into the optometry field from his own visits growing up, he chose that career path. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating magna cum laude in 1999.
Whether fitting someone with their first pair of contacts or addressing a complex eye issue, Dr. Brantley finds joy in helping patients of all ages. “In the eyecare field, we get to help people in so many situations,” he says. “Seeing their lives changed from the things we get to do with glasses, contacts, or specialty lenses is incredibly fulfilling.”
Dr. Brantley and the expert team of optometrists at Lone Star Vision offer cutting-edge optometric treatments and technologies, including TearCare. Optos retinal imaging greatly helps make the exams more thorough by allowing the doctors to detect problems faster and easier.
When he’s not at work, Dr. Brantley is cheering on his daughter, Makenna, as she continues to excel in her soccer career or spending time with his wife, Mandy, and their family. He’s also passionate about helping those in need. Dr. Brantley helped start the Grace Bridge Eye Clinic in Celina, which provides free exams to those needing glasses. He also proudly supports the Optometry Giving Sight program, a global fundraising initiative.
