Meet Caitlin Henderson
Caitlin Henderson is one such attorney. Born and raised in Rockwall, Caitlin graduated from Rockwall High before heading off to Texas Tech. Now she’s happy to be back in Rockwall raising her children close to her family. Caitlin’s roots are deep in Rockwall, and she feels a deep commitment to Rockwall families.
After Texas Tech Law School, Caitlin got her feet wet with a general law firm doing “a little bit of everything.” However, she found herself consistently drawn to family law and now brings that passion to the Timpa Law Office where she concentrates in divorces, prenup and marital property agreements, cohabitation agreements, wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, real estate, and business matters.
“There is a real benefit to having one attorney handling all these areas of law; to have that one person — that one-stop-shop,” Caitlin said. “That’s because family law cases almost always touch many different areas of your life. When I’m working on a divorce, for instance, that also impacts estate planning and guardianships. I have all of the client’s information from start to finish because I’ve been involved in all aspects of their case.” Caitlin also works collaboratively with other attorneys in the firm assisting their divorce clients with ancillary legal matters.

In family law cases, the facts can often be clouded by stress, anxiety, anger, frustration, or depression. “We are your advocate and care not just about the financial aspects of your case, but the emotional toll it can have on you and your family,” Caitlin said.
When not on the job, Caitlin is mom to four year old Jackson and one year old James. She is married to fellow attorney, David Henderson, and they are loving their newest challenge, coaching Jackson’s soccer team.

Meet Madisen Pittman
What’s a former criminal lawyer doing practicing family law? The answer — quite a lot. “Most people don’t realize how often criminal law and family law intersect,” said Attorney Madisen Pittman. “When a client has criminal and family cases pending at the same time, the criminal case will almost always affect the family-law case. When it does, it’s beneficial to have one attorney experienced in handling both aspects of their case.” Madisen’s background in criminal law positions her to handle both cases with confidence and to obtain the best outcome possible for her clients.

Madisen developed a passion for family law when she served as a CASA volunteer during law school. Another lifelong Rockwall resident, she cares deeply about the families she represents. Her undergraduate degree in psychology makes her keenly aware of the toll a court case can take on a family and offers her the tools to help minimize that damage. She is also one semester away from completing her master’s in forensic psychology, adding to her experience in navigating difficult and emotional situations.
“The first thing any client needs is an attorney who will really listen and care,” Madisen said. “Often feeling helpless and worried, they need me to hear not just their legal needs but their emotional ones.” Madisen helps her clients understand that divorce can mean a fresh start and new beginning. Then, she partners with them to make that beginning the best it can be.
