The holiday season is a great time for the
Joe Myers Kia team to say thanks to their loyal customers for helping them
achieve their all-time record sales year in 2023, for the 3rd consecutive
year. One of the longest-tenured Kia dealerships in the country, Joe Myers
Kia is most proud of their Customer Satisfaction reputation and the many
multiple repeat buyers that are a part of their owner base. Ralph Samuel, the
long time General Manager and Managing Partner, has been associated with the
Joe Myers Auto dealerships since the 1980’s, and the Samuel’s have been
involved with Joe Myers Kia since the beginning. Ralph says that “A large
part of the Joe Myers Kia ‘customer family’ is on their third, fourth, fifth,
or more vehicle purchase from us… one particular family comes in every couple
of years and buys 6 at a time for their whole crew.”

Elizabeth Samuel, Ralph’s wife of 35 years,
heads up their community outreach activities. Elizabeth and the Joe Myers Kia
team have once again been very active in the area this year, getting involved
with several charity initiatives throughout the year. Major charitable causes
that Joe Myers Kia has supported this year include St Jude’s Children’s
Hospital and The Gatehouse shelter.
Elizabeth and Ralph also are very passionate about their
involvement with the Greg Samuel Everyday Hero Foundation. When their
youngest son Greg was a freshman in high school, he started a tradition of
performing random acts of kindness in the community, concentrating on
Homeless charity actions…Mr. and Mrs. Samuel carry on this tradition. As
usual this year, Joe Myers Kia has been involved with distributing bottled
water, blankets, jackets, and such in the area.

A legacy of Commitment

at times, but having such a great group of long term, committed associates to
work with every day, really makes it rewarding” says Ralph.

Every Joe Myers Kia manager started with the
company at an entry-level position and earned a promotion. Many of the
associates have been a part of the team for many years. Jason, the Service
Director, has worked with Ralph since the 80’s. The Kia dealership’s 3 most
tenured salespeople, Hung, Alejandra, and Eric, have been with the company
more than 45 combined years. All three of Ralph and Elizabeth’s sons, Sean
(General Sales Mgr.), Nick (Kia Sales Mgr.), and Greg (TV/advertising
spokesman) started working for their dad long before they graduated from high
school and the grandsons have now entered the advertising arena. Our most
tenured associates include: Masoud (Kia Sales Mgr.); Tyler (Pre-Owned Sales
Mgr.); Kamil (Business Mgr.); Mike, Favio, and Isaac. (Service Advisors);
Luis (Parts Mgr.); Business associate Kim Le; and Senior technicians Jose,
Freddy and Gagan have all been with the company for many years. Elizabeth
adds,” All of our associates work together as a team to help everything go so
well.”

“Our spin on advertising is certainly
different and entertaining, and we’ve involved many of our team and family
members throughout the years. It’s really a great form of team building,”
Elizabeth shares. Ralph adds, “It has been particularly fun and rewarding
being able to include our 3 grandsons, Jeremy, Conner, and Gregory into our
tv commercials the last few years.”

The Dealership and Greg Samuel have won
multiple awards over the years, including Automotive Marketer of the Year
awards for their innovative and entertaining TV commercials, billboards, and
ads. The advertising features the iconic “Deal Buster” character created and
acted out with Greg, starting while he was still a freshman in high
school.
