The Lone Star Chapter of National Charity League, Inc (NCL) recently honored the members of the graduating class of 2024 (Ticktockers) for their successful completion of the NCL experience and requirements along with their commitment to the organization and the community. The Ticktockers and their mothers have contributed 7466 hours of community service to over 25 philanthropic organizations in the community during their time in NCL.
Highlights of the celebratory formal event, which was held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, included the individual presentation of each girl and her accomplishments, dinner, and dancing, complete with the traditional father-daughter waltz. In addition, the ceremony included sentiments from their class president, Adeline Berg, as well as a video presentation with a message from each Ticktocker. Senior Recognition is a time-honored tradition that serves as the finale of six years of learning and charitable endeavors.
NCL is a non-profit philanthropic community service, leadership development, and cultural organization comprised of mothers and daughters, with membership beginning when the girls are in the seventh grade and continuing through their senior year in high school. The Lone Star chapter was chartered in 1983 as the first chapter in the state of Texas and currently has 299 active members.
