A native of Southern California, Dr. Correa studied piano and psychology at the University of California. He received his medical training at the highly esteemed UCLA School of Medicine, where he
decided early on to pursue plastic surgery as a specialty.

Dr. Correa entered one of the most prestigious and sought-after plastic surgery programs in the country at Baylor College of Medicine. Due to the high volume of cases in the Texas Medical Center, which is the largest medical center in the world, he far exceeded the training numbers required, as well as receiving extra training in his specific areas of interest.

Dr. Correa believes that a dynamic exists between the components of the face and the shape of the body. Each needs to fit and complement the other. Due to his extensive training in all aspects of plastic surgery from head-to-toe, Dr. Correa has an exceptional understanding of this dynamic. He has seen what can happen when this balance is upset, and restoring this balance is his goal.

The body has complementary aspects and just as in physics, for every action, there is a reaction. Balance is obtained when one can preserve what is good and desirable, and re-shape what is not. This is the best way for natural results to occur.

The latest innovation in breast augmentation is a new brand of implants called Motiva, only on the market since late 2024. All breast implants have two parts: a shell and a fill. Motiva offers a shell created from material shown to be particularly bacteria-resistant.

In addition, it offers what is called an “integrated shell,” much less likely to rupture. And even with a rupture the silicone will not leak, making these implants safer than previous options. Motiva implants also maintain their shape and volume better over time than similar products. The Woodlands Plastic Surgery is now offering a special on these new implants.

During 2025 Dr. Correa and his team proudly announced the opening of their brand new, state-of-the-art surgery center. This center uses the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), a not-for-profit organization that sets standards for patient safety and care.

The AAAASF assessment includes standards for infrastructure, staff, and equipment protocols. The facility must comply with high standards for cleanliness, procedures, and surgeon qualification as well as patient safety in the operating room, recovery room, and general facility. It is the highest level of certification one can achieve for an outpatient office surgery center.

This new center emphasizes patient comfort, convenience and safety, just as Dr. Correa always has in his practice. It is located onsite at The Woodlands Plastic Surgery on Vision Park Boulevard. Board certified anesthesiologists and a licensed and certified nursing team bring their experience and compassion to serving at the center.

Though a busy surgeon, Dr. Correa still prioritizes time for his children —a eight-year-old Olivia and seven-year-old Logan. Both are involved in gymnastics, while Olivia plays tennis and piano, and Logan plays baseball and drums. Dr. Correa continues to regularly play classical piano and creates clay sculptures, which can be seen onsite in the office.
