Sameera Siddiqui, MD

Dr. Sameera Siddiqui is a neurologist and neurohospitalist with Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders (TIND) and serving patients at Medical City Arlington (MCA). She specializes in caring for patients arriving with strokes, seizures, or urgent neurological conditions. Alongside nurse practitioner Lible Elakattu, APRN, she takes a thorough, team- based approach with key specialist teams, ensuring every patient feels seen and heard. That dedication has earned her trust at both MCA and TIND, where she serves on the stroke committee, as Neurology Consulting Advisor, and as a professor teaching medicine residents.

Dr. Siddiqui credits love and support for getting her here. Her father, a physician, inspired her path toward medicine, while her mother and sister guided her with the belief that, as Roosevelt said, “thrusts greatness” upon you.

Childhood friend Dr. Jasmine Chopra, DO, sparked her intrigue for neurology. She majored in psychology and minored in biology at Loyola University, completed medical school at the University of Nevada Reno, and residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center during the COVID pandemic. There, mentor and then-Chairman of Neurology Dr. David Lee Gordon, MD, ignited a lifelong commitment to fighting for her patients — and it’s where she met and fell in love with her husband, urologist Zain Hyder, MD, of UPNT.

Patients praise Dr. Siddiqui for her dedication. “Everything I do is for my patients,” she said. Her goal is to carry that commitment from the hospital into the clinic — representing TIND and ensuring every patient receives the highest quality of neurological care.
