Dr. Mini Chadda approaches women’s healthcare with a blend of expertise and warmth — qualities that have earned her recognition as a Living Magazine Top Doc and made her a trusted physician for patients across North Texas. As a board-certified OB-GYN and medical director at Diana Health, Dr. Chadda is known not only for her advanced clinical skills, but also for her calm, personable presence.
Dr. Chadda earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her OB-GYN residency at Nassau University Medical Center, where she served as chief resident during her final year. She later spent eight years practicing in the Houston area with Baylor St. Luke’s and Memorial Hermann Medical Group, while also serving as a faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine. During that time, she established and led her own women’s health practice, caring for more than 4,000 patients.
Those experiences shaped her practical, patient-centered approach. “From academic medicine I have learned the importance of staying up to date with changes and advancements in medicine,” she says. “From private practice I have applied the importance of a patient’s financial concerns. For instance, small things like the cost of a medication and whether it will be reimbursed. It shouldn’t dominate my practice, but it should guide it.”
Dr. Chadda’s specialties include comprehensive OB-GYN care, high-risk pregnancy management, laparoscopic surgery, minimally invasive robotic surgery, and specialized care for VBAC patients. She is also proficient in ultrasound imaging and fluent in Hindi and Punjabi, allowing her to connect with women from diverse backgrounds.
Listening, she believes, begins with preparation. “The best thing I can do to help patients be heard is to be strong in my clinical skills,” she says. “When a patient comes in for an issue, if I know what my basic plan will be for that concern I can focus on all the details she is providing.”
Dr. Chadda also takes note of what matters personally. “I always take notes on things that seem like small details but are a big deal for the patient,” she says, “like where they work, what school they plan to go to, or how many kids they have.”
At Diana Health, Dr. Chadda offers advanced robotic surgery using the da Vinci DV5 system, improving outcomes and recovery times. “Robotic surgery has revolutionized treatment for gynecologic conditions for women,” she says. “This allows for precise surgery and also limits blood loss.” Procedures such as ovarian cyst removal and hysterectomy can now be performed with small incisions, often allowing patients to return home the same day.
For Dr. Chadda, presence matters as much as precision. “I want patients to see that I am truly here for them,” she says. “This is their time for me to give myself to the situation she is experiencing.”
With deep expertise and a genuine commitment to being present, Dr. Chadda exemplifies the kind of care women seek at every stage of life. Learn more at HeyDianaHealth.com.
