Recently named partner at Hayes, Berry, White & Vanzant, LLP, Kirsten A. Bode is stepping into a new chapter. With nearly two decades of experience in practicing law, she has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality work and building strong, trusted relationships with her clients.

Kirsten focuses exclusively on family law, including custody, divorce, and high-conflict matters. She is particularly passionate about cases involving children. “Matters involving children — such as custody and parenting arrangements — are especially important to me, as they often have long-term implications for families and require a focus on stability and well-being. I also find meaningful work in helping clients navigate complex or high-conflict situations with as much clarity and efficiency as possible,” she says.

Her work is rooted in both clarity and compassion. “These matters often carry significant emotional and practical consequences, and being able to provide steady, thoughtful guidance during that time is meaningful to me,” she says. “I also value helping clients reach resolutions that allow them to move forward constructively. Being able to help clients navigate through what are likely the worst days of their lives and come out on the other side is an incredible feeling.”

As a partner, Kirsten is equally focused on the future of her firm. “I hope to make a steady, lasting contribution by delivering thoughtful, high-quality work and building strong, trusted relationships,” she says. “Internally, I aim to support the continued development of our attorneys and staff, by fostering a healthy work environment and strengthening the firm’s culture — which values professionalism, respect, and a shared commitment to excellence. Outside the office, Kirsten finds her greatest joy in time with her family. A proud mom of twin boys, she enjoys being outdoors, embracing everyday moments at home, and staying grounded through the energy and connection that family life brings. “My life outside of work is busy, chaotic, loud, and messy,” she says, “but it’s a great balance to the very serious nature of the work we do here. That helps me reset and stay grounded.”
