For Chrissy Vorderbruggen, travel has always been more than just the destination — it’s about the memories made along the way. As a wife and mother with a deep love of family travel, she discovered early on how meaningful well-planned vacations could be, especially during the busy years of raising four young children.

Beginning in 2000, Chrissy and her family made regular trips to Walt Disney World, learning firsthand what made a vacation feel effortless and special. Friends began turning to her for advice, and what started as something she simply loved to do eventually became something she was called to build. In 2008, she founded Happily Ever After Travel.

For Chrissy, the work has never been about just booking trips. Instead, it’s listening closely, caring for people well, and creating space for connection in a world that often moves too fast.

Today, she leads a team of advisors who, for nearly two decades, have walked alongside families through life’s most meaningful moments — first visits, honeymoons, destination weddings, multigenerational adventures, as well as ocean and river cruises, all-inclusive escapes, and custom European travel.

Their efforts have earned Happily Ever After Travel a place among the industry’s leading agencies, including being Earmarked by Disney since 2010, U-Preferred with Universal Parks & Resorts, and being named to the prestigious President’s Circle of Travel Leaders’ Network.

What began with her own family’s experiences has grown into something much bigger — rooted in trust, guided by heart, and centered on helping others make memories they will carry for a lifetime … memories that live happily ever after. “Travel changes you,” Chrissy says. “It brings families closer, helps us understand one another, and reminds us what really matters. We’re not promised tomorrow — so take the trip.”
