Trevor Liljenquist, DDS Joins Park Forest Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center

Dr. Trevor Liljenquist is the most recent addition to Park Forest’s team. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to practice oral surgery care in this community,” he said. He believes in establishing a personal connection with every patient and tailoring treatment to each of their needs. His approachable manner and genuine compassion help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.

He was introduced to the field of oral surgery while in dental school. “I felt it would allow me to have a meaningful and positive impact on patients every day.” After finishing residency in Cincinnati, he and his family moved to the Mansfield area where he joined Park Forest Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center.

Dr. Liljenquist combines his sound surgical training with a practical, patient-first approach. His patients are treated the way he would want his own family to be cared for. Treatment plans are thoroughly explained from a big-picture point of view, giving patients a better understanding about what the process entails from start to finish. Options for treatment and Dr. Liljenquist’s reasoning behind them are discussed in detail, facilitating patients’ trust and self-assurance throughout their visits.

His goal in the office is to provide honest and meticulous surgical care that improves patients’ health and quality of life. “Personally, outside the office, it’s about being a present husband and dad, living my faith, and striving to be useful in our community,” he said.

His parents and his wife have been the inspiration behind his career journey. “My parents taught me the value of hard work and were living examples of that,” he said. His wife is a constant reminder of steadiness as he watches her raise their children and support their family.

“I prioritize living a healthy lifestyle, mainly so our kids can learn healthy habits and have a good example to follow.” While he loves chocolate chip cookies and desserts, Dr. Liljenquist and his wife try to balance that by being an active family.

They all enjoy walking, working out together, and making movement a normal part of their everyday lives. They’re also very involved in their church, where Dr. Liljenquist works with young men every week.

Dr. Liljenquist earned his DDS from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati. His clinical interests include dental implants and bone grafting, wisdom teeth extractions, facial trauma, cosmetics, pathology, and TMJ disorders.
