Dallas McNeal’s photography business is a beautiful example of staying open to God’s calling and trusting His plan. As a woman of faith, Dallas believes that her work is more than just capturing images — it’s about creating meaningful, lasting memories for her clients.

“Photography was one of those things that God put on my heart to begin pursuing a few years ago,” Dallas says. “It’s really just trusting Him and having a supportive husband with the process.” Today, she’s dedicated to providing her clients with an elevated photography experience rooted in faith, warmth, and a genuine desire to make every portrait session meaningful.

Dallas McNeal Photography is based in the heart of downtown Rockwall in an office next to The Flat, a warm, fun, and inviting space where her clients can experience professional photography without needing to cross the bridge into Dallas.

“I wanted to establish a place here in Rockwall that would be convenient and accessible,” she says. Whether capturing family portraits, high school seniors, or professional branding portraits at The Flat or on location, Dallas believes in taking the time to make each session relaxed and enjoyable.

Currently, Dallas is focused on offering a more luxury level of photography, both in terms of experience and the products she delivers. She is particularly passionate about providing beautiful, high-quality wall art and albums that help her clients preserve their memories in a tangible way.

Dallas sources luxury materials, such as handcrafted canvases printed on leather and albums designed in suede and velvet, to ensure her clients have access to the finest-quality products. “One client recently told me, ‘I’ve never seen anything like this in our area,’ and that really meant a lot to me,” she says. The products she creates are designed to be timeless, giving her clients something to cherish and display as art in their homes for years to come. “I want my clients to feel the joy and emotions of the moment when they see their portraits,” she says.

For example, Dallas’ work extends beyond portraits to include special projects like the unforgettable senior portrait session she did with 90-year-old Sandra Lou Earnheart, known lovingly as “Nanny.” It was a session filled with emotion, love, and purpose, as Dallas helped a family memorialize their matriarch while she was still with them. In fact, this unique session has now created a new genre for her known as Silver Senior Sessions.

For Dallas, every portrait session is an opportunity to connect with her clients, often having a moment of prayer before a session. “My camera is a passport into other people’s lives,” she says. “It’s a blessing to be able to witness and capture their stories.”

As graduation season is now upon us, she encourages parents with high school students to book their Senior Portrait Session now, even if they’re an incoming Sophomore or Junior. “Invest in capturing memories now,” she says, “so you can enjoy them for a lifetime.”
