Sky High for Kids raises over $1.1 million at its annual Houston Banquet and Sporting Clay Tournament. The two-day event started with a sporting clay tournament at the Greater Houston Sports Club. After competing, participants made their way to an awards ceremony featuring live music, 400 pounds of crawfish, and a raffle.

On the second day, 600 guests gathered at The Revaire for the banquet, where they could peruse a silent auction before making their way to the main event space. Taylor Sass served as emcee for the evening, spoke about the importance of Sky High for Kids’ mission, and gave special recognition to guests of honor, Vicki and Steve Weyel, as guests enjoyed a delectable dinner. Chip Probe, the father of Cancer Warrior Dylan, followed with a moving speech about their family’s personal battle with pediatric cancer, bringing the room to tears and a standing ovation.
