Elizabeth Samuel, with Joe Myers Imports, is very excited to announce the grand opening of their brand-new state-of-the-art Mazda facility and showroom. Joe Myers Mazda is one of the longest-tenured Mazda dealers in the country, and has served the community now for over 33 years. Joe Myers Mazda is led by General Manager Sean Samuel. Sean started his career in the automotive business at Joe Myers Imports in the late ’90s, while he was still in high school, and is joined by a dedicated, talented, and tenured crew, including Sales Managers Fady Dakdouk and Joey Munoz, seven years with the company, that is committed to delivering a first-class buying experience to
their customers.

Sean says, “This is the perfect time to go all-in on Mazda, with the award-winning lineup of new Mazdas that we have for our customers, including the stunning CX90. It has never been better to be a Mazda dealer.” Jason Proios, the service director for 15 years, is eager to show off the stunning new Parts and Service department to one and all. Sean would also like to add, “Our service department is where you want to come with any issues that you may ever have with your Mazda. Our senior technicians, Miles and Tommy, along with our senior advisors, Brandon and Brian, average over 12 years with us.”

Tyler Collins, the certified pre-owned manager, has been with the team for seven years, and mentions that their selection of certified pre-owned vehicles is excellent. Elizabeth is proud that the Joe Myers Imports dealerships maintain their standing as strong partners in the community, and that they have been major sources of employment and commerce in Northwest Houston for many years. Selling and servicing vehicles for their customers is the focal point of their business and makes it possible for Elizabeth and her family and associates to concentrate on community and charitable endeavors throughout the year. The dealership’s charitable activities last year have included partnerships with St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Gatehouse Shelter. Elizabeth and associates also actively support local area youth sports teams and school fundraisers. Additionally, the dealership supports local FFA chapters.       

Elizabeth has been intimately involved in the car business and charitable endeavors in Northwest Houston for as long as she can remember. She and her husband, Ralph, the dealership’s managing partner, began their association with the Joe Myers Auto Group in the 1980s. Ralph, Elizabeth, and crew were proud to recently open their brand new Kia facility and showroom.  The dealership has been a constant in the community now for over 29 years, and is also one of the longest-tenured Kia dealerships in Texas and the U.S.. During the construction phase and beyond, Joe Myers Kia has had three consecutive all-time record sales years, with 2023 being the best ever, and 2024 starting off even better. The Kia sales directors, Masoud Zarakhsh, seven years with the company, and Nick Samuel, who also started with Joe Myers Imports when he was still in high school 19 years ago, are joined by one of the most accomplished Kia sales consultants in the U.S., Hung Pham, who has been with the company for 18 years.

Living readers voted Joe Myers Imports the Best Auto Dealership in the Cy-Fair area again, for the fifth time in 2023. A huge part of that success comes down to the friendly and professional atmosphere that the group prides themselves on.

“We have a great group of associates — the best in Houston,” Elizabeth said. “Most have been with us for years, which is uncommon in the auto dealership industry.”

“We have many that have been with us for over a decade” Ralph adds. “Almost all of our managers started at entry-level positions and worked their way up.”

Elizabeth and Ralph were heavily involved with the planning when the auto dealerships moved to their present locations. They leveraged this experience with current knowledge, and their new state-of-the-art facilities has only added to that legacy.

Elizabeth speaks for the entire team when she stresses that their customers are their most valuable commodity. “We appreciate every single one so much. We have many repeat customers who we have partnered with for many years.”

Along with being blessed with amazing customers, their tenured associates’ dedication and professionalism have been instrumental in Joe Myers Imports receiving plenty of awards and accolades over the years. This includes being recognized numerous times as a Wards Auto Dealer Business Dealer 500-Top Dealers in the USA. The dealerships are also consistently recognized for their achievements in customer satisfaction, which the team prioritizes as much as their achievements in selling volume.

Another area where the dealerships shine is marketing and advertising. The refreshing, entertaining brand is promoted in print and on billboards, YouTube, and Facebook. Greg Samuel, who also started with the company in high school, and the Joe Myers Imports team, are well-known for the TV spots. They’ve won multiple awards over the years for their unique, innovative ideas.

Elizabeth is and will always be involved in her community. In addition to promoting the dealerships and working with her associates, she takes her community involvement to heart. In addition to coordinated activities, Elizabeth and Ralph are very serious about supporting the Greg Samuel Everyday Hero Foundation, which sponsors random acts of kindness.
